Kukishinden-Ryū Kenjutsu Seminar

Kukishinden-Ryū Hiken no Ho
(Kukishinden-Ryū Way of the Secret Sword)
Welcome to the first 2020 post lockdown seminar! We have decided to ease our way in by minimizing physical contact with a weapon seminar from a classical ryu and especially selecting techniques that do not involve jutaijutsu (Grappling methods).
Kukushinden Ryu Kenjutsu will be our primary focus as we explore the classical sword fighting principles and techniques that would have been present during the tumultuous Sengoku Jidai period. This was a period of Japanese civil war that very quickly eliminated any Ryu of inferior principles as warriors would face each other in mortal combat as a part of daily life. We are truly fortunate to have the honor of studying this legendary Ryu and are looking forward to sharing this experience with you all.
